Randy Orton has been missing from WWE TV since May 20th, when he and his RK-Bro partner, Matt Riddle, lost the Raw Tag Team Championships to The Usos.
Days later, it was announced that Orton had suffered a legitimate back injury which would leave how out of action for an unknown amount of time.
In November, it was reported that The Viper had undergone fusion surgery on his lower back which would leave him unable to return to the ring for an “extended period”. His father, Bob Orton, later provided an update saying his son was “coming along”.

During his recovery, Orton has been keeping himself busy and recently visited Boone Centre Inc. (BCI) in St Peters, Missouri. BCI is an organisation which provides employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Pictures from the surprise visit were posted on Facebook, with one in particular showing that The Viper has been keeping himself in great shape.

BCI explained on Facebook that Randy Orton and his family stopped by after being invited by their CEO, Troy Compardo, whose son attends the same middle school as Orton’s.
“‘I’m freaking out right now!’ was what super-fan Jenna said earlier today after she met WWE pro wrestler Randy Orton during a surprise visit. Randy, his wife Kim and their family stopped by at the invitation of our CEO Troy Compardo (their sons attend middle school together).
“As you can imagine, there were MANY hugs and high-fives, along with autographs and photos. While Randy is known to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, today he was just a dad, friend and neighbor coming by to see our mission in action—and to make a few people like Jenna very, very happy. How cool is that?! #Thankyou Randy for making our day!”
