By now we all know that Randy Orton has a knack for delivering an RKO when people least expect it, but surely his own family are safe?

The RKO has become one of the most devastating and most popular finishing moves in wrestling history. While the move itself is nothing new, having been utilised by Johnny Ace and Diamond Dallas Page in decades gone by, it has taken on a life it it’s own in recent years.

The move has spawned memes, gifs, catchphrases and has fully transitioned into the pop culture lexicon.

However, you’d think that with Randy Orton on WWE’s injury list, the wrestling world and the indeed the world as whole would be safe from those three dangerous letters. But you would be wrong.

Video has emerged online of Orton hitting the RKO on his cousin “outta nowhere!”

Water-based RKO’s appear to have become a theme in recent weeks with Sonya Deville hitting the move on new SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan on a yacht.

Randy Orton hasn’t appeared on WWE television since the May 20th episode of Friday Night SmackDown. On the show, Orton teamed with Riddle to take on The Usos, as the two teams attempted to become WWE’s Undisputed Tag Team Champions.

After the match RK-Bro were beaten down by The Bloodline, and Orton hasn’t wrestled since.

It has since been reported that Orton is undergoing treatment for a back injury that has become progressively more troublesome in recent months. The report suggested that those within WWE are concerned that the star may miss the rest of the year, should he need to undergo surgery.
