Randy Orton hasn’t competed on Monday Night RAW since being defeated by John Morrison in a Money In The Bank qualifying match on June 21st.
The following week The Viper had been scheduled to take part in a ‘Last chance’ Triple Threat Match but didn’t appear on the show. In his absence, his RK-Bro partner Riddle attempted to win a place in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match on his behalf.
While Riddle has remained a fixture on the red brand, Randy Orton has continued to be conspicuous by his absence. However, the 14-time World Champion could be on the road back to action.
Orton is currently being advertised for the non-televised Supershow at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Saturday July 31st, and another Supershow event the following day at Little Ceasars Arena in Detroit.
The RK to Riddle’s Bro is also being advertised for RAW on August 2nd.
Following the most recent episode of RAW, Riddle teamed with John Cena after the show went off the air. The unlikely team took on T-Bar and Mace with Riddle working the majority before Cena received the hot tag in a thunderous reception. Cena quickly hit all of signature spots before picking up the win.
After returning to WWE at Money In The Bank, Cena called out Universal Champion Roman Reigns, challenging him to a match at SummerSlam. On the following episode of SmackDown Cena arrived expecting answers but found little to cheer.
Reigns turned down Cena’s challenge in favour of a showdown with Finn Balor.
