Rampage Brown is coming to WWE’s UK brand, per an announcement video on this week’s NXT UK.
The 23-year veteran of the British wrestling scene is the latest addition to NXT UK’s ever-expanding roster. One of the country’s most experienced heavyweights, Brown’s arsenal consists of a unique combination of strength, power and agility.
A promo video on this week’s NXT UK hyped the 37-year-old’s debut with words from WWE coach and fellow British heavyweight Johnny Moss, former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne and Brown’s tag team partner on the independent scene, Ashton Smith.
“I’m really excited to see what Rampage does here. I’ve been in that ring with him and I know what he is capable of. Experience, power, agility, aggression; an absolutely ruthless no-nonsense attitude”, said Johnny Moss.
Rampage Brown has won championships in wrestling promotions from all over the UK, most notably PROGRESS, Revolution Pro Wrestling, ICW and ITV’s World of Sport series.
Competing under his real name of Oliver Biney, Brown appeared on a UK episode of ECW in 2008, where he lost to Mark Henry. In 2011, Brown returned to WWE where he competed for Florida Championship Wrestling under the ring name Monty Lynch.
