R-Truth Wins 50th 24/7 Title After Trade With Bad Bunny

R-Truth claimed his record breaking 50th 24/7 Championship on the 15th March episode of Monday Night RAW.

The now former champion Bad Bunny handed over the title belt in exchange for some Stone Cold Steve Austin merchandise.

R-Truth won his first 24/7 Championship on May 20th 2019, the same night that Mick Foley unveiled the new title. In pinning Robert Roode he became the first WWE Superstar to hold the 24/7 and the now defunct Hardcore Championship.

Bad Bunny made his WWE debut at the 2021 Royal Rumble performing his hit track ‘Booker T’ alongside the man himself. The Grammy Award winning rapper then formed an unlikely alliance with Damian Priest, winning the 24/7 Championship on the February 15th edition of the red brand.

With Priest by his side Bad Bunny held onto the title for a full month before giving it up rather than being defeated. During his time with the championship the ‘Te Deseo lo Mejor’ star performed on Saturday Night Live showcasing his piece of WWE silverware

Bad Bunny was the #1 listened to artist across 2020 via Spotify, taking the world by storm, as well as winning multiple Latin Grammy Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards for Best Reggaeton Performance, Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year among others. Bad Bunny’s most recent album El Último Tour Del Mundo – which features the single Booker T – debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and was the first all-Spanish-language album to reach #1 in the 64-year history of the all-genre chart, as well as #1 on Apple Music’s global “Top Albums” chart for all genres.
