R-Truth’s son accuses Triple H of lying before deleting WWE Money in the Bank post.
R-Truth shockingly returned at the main event of WWE Money in the Bank, where he attacked former “childhood hero” and rival John Cena during his tag team match with Logan Paul versus Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Discussions regarding the wrestling veteran’s status ran rampant on social media, and the superstar’s son has an answer.
During the 2025 Money in the Bank post-show press conference, Triple H was asked if R-Truth’s exit was planned or not, to which he answered was part of the show, implying that it was indeed the former.
Following these comments, Christopher Killings, Truth’s son, shared the clip on his Instagram story, saying the Chief Content Officer was lying. Christopher also posted a video of his father’s return on his account and congratulated him on the new WWE deal, adding that it was going to be the latter’s final run.

While the congratulatory message is still present on Christopher’s Instagram story, the one where he addressed Triple H’s comments has since been deleted.
R-Truth Clarifies Whether His WWE Exit Was Real Or Not
Although WWE’s Chief Content Officer stated that Truth’s exit was part of a plan, many fans didn’t believe it, especially when the superstar himself stated that it wasn’t scripted.
A fan posted a video on X/Twitter about Truth’s return and stated that everybody was “worked” about the exit. However, the former United States Champion said it wasn’t a “work,” implying he was indeed released a week ago.
The former champion’s statements were also backed up by a couple of reports. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful said that many in the Stamford-based promotion believed his departure was real, and Sportskeeda’s Anirban Banerjee shared that the wrestling veteran was in talks with several independent promotions, but communications stopped.
