QT Marshall Names The AEW Star He Wanted In The Factory

QT Marshall The Factory

QT Marshall shocked AEW when he led a revolt against Cody Rhodes and formed The Factory, now he has named the one AEW star that he wanted to be part of his group.

Marshall had previously been affiliated with Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Family and had formed The Natural Nightmares tag team with Dustin Rhodes to some success. Cracks appeared during the Casino Tag Team Royale at Revolution in March when Marshall walked out on his partner leaving Dustin Rhodes to fend for himself.

At the end of March, QT Marshall revealed his grand plan when he turned on Cody, Dustin, and the rest of The Nightmare Family with a group that had also been part of that clan. Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solow, and Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo joined with Marshall to form The Factory.

In an appearance on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, QT Marshall has now named the one star in AEW he wanted to be part of his group. Unfortunately for Marshall, a certain Smart Mark got their first.

Marshall explained:

“Well, I think the biggest thing we’ve been talking about is possibly adding a female. Before she signed with Mark Sterling, Jade Cargill would have been the first choice because she trains at the factory, but we wanted her. She’s got a lot going for herself.

“We kind of wanted to let that go, but there’s a lot of extra talent that comes in that I think if they were just taught the right things at the right times, they have a lot of potential, and that’s what happened with Aaron Solow. I didn’t train him from scratch. He’s been around for 13 years, but he just needed the proper guidance, and that’s where his opportunity came in.

“There are some people out there, but I think adding a female to the group would really help us out. There’s been a couple on Elevation and Dark that are not affiliated with any other factions in AEW. So we’ll see. It’s just about getting them to make sure they understand what it means to be a part of The Factory and that literally means that you have no problem stepping on anyone and everyone to make it to the top.”

Jade Cargill burst onto the AEW scene declaring her allegiance with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. Cargill and O’Neal met Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet in tag team action on the 3rd of March edition of AEW Dynamite. Cargill picked up the victory for her team when she pinned Velvet.

Since then Jade Cargill has been undefeated in the company and after a brief search for a manager found her being headhunted by the likes of Vickie Guerrero and Matt Hardy, Cargill settled for the services of MJF’s former on-screen legal counsel ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling.
