GIN AND JUICE GETS THE WIN.

The AEW duo appeared with their new manager, Matt Hardy. This marked a return to Impact for Hardy himself, who left under acrimonious circumstances in 2017. Together they interrupted another Impact Wrestling returnee – James Storm. Storm was announcing a new team with Chris Sabin whose regular partner, Alex Shelley, is currently out of action. This led to a number one contenders match between Private Party and the newly christened ‘Beer Guns.’
AEW CEO Tony Khan and AEW coach Jerry Lynn appeared to take their seats at ringside to watch the match. Khan has been appearing during Impact broadcasts with AEW announcer Tony Schiavone in ‘paid commercials’ where they take shots at the company and promote AEW events.
With Sabin on the top rope looking to end the match, Lynn would interfere holding onto his ankle. This would allow Private Party to hit their ‘Gin and Juice’ finish for the victory. The current Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers would appear and did not look too happy at the turn of events.
The Good Brothers have made their presence known in AEW, appearing on Dynamite and even teaming with Kenny Omega. Omega, who Tony Khan credits with having the idea of partnering with Impact Wrestling, pinned Impact World Champion Rich Swann at the Hard to Kill event.
