Pretty Deadly Make NXT 2.0 Debut With New Names

Pretty Deadly NXT 2.0 debut

Pretty Deadly have arrived in NXT 2.0, but maybe not quite as you might remember them.

On the April 5th, post Stand & Deliver episode of NXT 2.0, The Creed Brothers took on Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium.

However, as the match progressed it became clear that all was not well in the Imperium camp. This culminated in Aichner walking out of the match, leaving Barthel to be double-teamed and defeated by Julius and Brutus.

After the match as The Creed Brothers and Malcom Bivens stood tall celebrating, the victors were attacked with steel chairs by two hooded individuals. The same mystery figures who had destroyed the Diamond Mine Dojo and attacked the brothers backstage previously.

With Julius and Brutus laid out, the two mysterious attackers then revealed themselves to be former NXT UK Tag Team champions Pretty Deadly.

It was then revealed that the pair now go by the names Kit Wilson and Elton Prince, having previously been called Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley.

After finding success on the British wrestling independent scene, Pretty Deadly began appearing in NXT UK in 2019. After climbing through the tag team ranks, the pair captured the NXT Tag Team Championships in February 2021 after defeating Gallus.

The team stood atop NXT UK for a number of months before finally losing the titles to Moustache Mountain on December 9th. The defeat ended their reign at 287 days. The now former champions have since only wrestled twice more in NXT UK before their shock NXT 2.0 debut.

Elsewhere on the show, Toxic Attraction regain the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles, earning the win over Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. The team of Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne only lost the titles days earlier at Stand & Deliver.
