Premiere Date Of Vince McMahon VICE TV Documentary Announced

Vince McMahon

Later this month, VICE TV will be releasing a two-hour documentary about former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, “The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon” will premiere on Tuesday, October 18 at 8:00 PM ET, which will lead into that night’s edition of The Rock’s “Tales From the Territories.”

After The Wall Street Journal exposed McMahon for the hush money scandal and an investigation into the matter, McMahon announced his retirement from WWE. Since then, McMahon has only been spotted once in public, which was his birthday that he celebrated with John Cena and Cena’s wife, as well as an unidentified woman, in New York City.

VICE isn’t the only company coming out with a McMahon project, so is HBO and Netflix.

With HBO, their “Real Sports” program is working on a piece about the former WWE owner for a future episode, with Netflix working on a docuseries that’s currently in progress. It should be noted that Netflix’s project is a WWE co-production and was announced before the scandal came to light. Currently, the creative approach of the project is unknown.

An unofficial book about Vince McMahon is also set to be released in spring 2023.
