WWE Royal Rumble is one of the company’s biggest events and has multiple cities vying to host it.
Throughout its near 40 year heritage the much loved event has been hosted across the great continent of the United States of America.
The brainchild of Pat Patterson, birthed in 1988, the 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal has been a fan favourite ever since it debuted in the Copps Coliseum, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Following the mega success of WrestleMania XL many fans and those within the industry are wondering where the company will host one of its grandest spectacles.
Where is WWE Royal Rumble 2026 being held?
While there isn’t any confirmation as to where the event is being held there are reports that Milwaukee is in the running to host the first WWE PLE of 2026.
The news piece also reveals that state officials are hoping to bring “one of the biggest shows in professional wrestling to American Family Field”.
Apparently those at CBS 58 have learned that state leaders have been in talks with the company to pitch them potentially hosting a “future ‘Royal Rumble’ at the ballpark once it’s been winterized.” The report notes that the winterization is to take place after the 2025 baseball season, making 2026 the first year possible that the Rumble could take place at the venue.
American Family Field, the baseball stadium of Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers. The 41,900 capacity stadium boasts a retractable roof, and is supposedly being considered as the venue.
The mayor of Milwaukee, Cavalier Johnson took to social media to express his desire to host an event of this magnitude at the stadium.
