WWE Reveal Potential Date For UK Pay-Per-View

WWE has released their pay-per-view events calendar for 2022 and a potential date for a long-awaited PPV in the UK is on the cards.

The company has released the list of nine events in a statement adding that events due to take place in February and October next year are close to being finalised.

The run of shows starts with the Day One event that will take place on New Year’s Day at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. January will have two pay-per-views with the annual Royal Rumble event occurring on Saturday, 29th of January at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

The list also confirms that for the third year in a row WrestleMania will be a two night affair with the AT&T Stadium in Dallas hosting two nights of action on The Grandest Stage Of Them All on the 2nd and 3rd of April.

While almost all of the events on the list have their location confirmed, the event that is pencilled in for the 3rd or 4th of September is listed as “Pay-per-view TBD Location.”

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has taken to social media to give his take on the September event and fans of WWE in the UK might want to take notice:

“September 3 or 4 is slated tentatively as the WWE UK PPV, as far as I understand. Even if they ran the day of All Out, the shows would likely be an ocean apart and not technically head to head”

AEW All Out has previously been held on Labor Day weekend that straddles the end of August/beginning of September. That event is likely to return to its spiritual home of the NOW Arena in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Although AEW President Tony Khan has been vocal about his wish for the company to run a major show in the UK.
