According to reports, the post-WrestleMania 37 episode of NXT will broadcast on Tuesday 13th April, seeing the black and gold brand move from its traditional Wednesday night slot.
As per pwinsider “Several WWE sources confirmed today that the first WWE NXT episode coming out of Wrestlemania 37 weekend is currently scheduled to be held and broadcast on Tuesday 4/13.”
The report goes on to say that while WWE have not responded to the reports, “we are told that the production calendar for Wrestlemania week currently lists the 4/13 taping date.”
It had previously been suggested that black and gold brand was set to move from Wednesday nights, however conflicting reports have emerged detailing that the move to Tuesday’s might now be off.
On the March 10th episode of NXT it was revealed that for the first time an NXT TakeOver will take place over two nights. The special, titled NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver will be broadcast over the 7th and 8th April.
More immediately, numerous matches are set to be pulled from the upcoming episode of NXT. As reported by Fightful Select, the show is set to undergo “significant changes” due to a potential new COVID-19 outbreak. Some talent have been placed in quarantine while others have been pulled from the show.
At time of writing there is no word on the names of the affected talents.
The news of the potential outbreak comes off the back of WWE reportedly aiming to have 45,000 fans in attendance at each night of WrestleMania 37. Initial reports suggested that the company were aiming to have 30,000 fans inside Raymond James Stadium on each night, but these estimates have seen been upgraded.
