Fans are inarguably one of the most important aspects of professional wrestling, but there are barriers around ringside for a reason. Scarlett found this out the hard way during a recent WWE live event in Peoria, Illinois, as she had a beverage tossed over her.
The incident occurred during Karrion Kross’ bout vs. Drew McIntyre, which saw ‘The Scottish Warrior’ emerge victorious. With Scarlett ejected from ringside after being caught slapping McIntyre, she had the drink poured over her by a fan.
Per PWInsider, the fan in question was quickly removed from the building, with the police also reportedly being called. It’s said that the culprit was ejected first, with security later escorting their family from the building as well, who allegedly appeared embarrassed to be associated with them.

Scarlett Hits Back At Fan Following Police Incident
Taking to Twitter, Scarlett referenced the incident, stating that she wasn’t surprised that “something like this” would happen in Peoria:
“As a classy woman from Chicago, I’m not surprised that something like this would happen in Peoria.
PS. To the granny who threw the drink, your booze was as cheap as your hairdo.”

Scarlett, alongside Karrion Kross, returned to WWE on the August 5 Friday Night SmackDown, having initially been cut from the sports entertainment giant the prior November. ‘The Smokeshow’ had been absent from Kross’ side during his first stint on the main roster, an aspect that WWE’s new management regime was quick to rectify the second time around.
