Persia Pirotta Hilariously Responds To NXT Segment Featuring Former Stablemates

Recently released NXT star Persia Pirotta was indirectly referenced on the latest NXT 2.0, and she took to social media to respond.

Persia Pirotta was one of ten NXT talents released on April 29th, alongside fellow stablemate Dexter Lumis. This news came as a shock to fans as Dexter Lumis was married to Indi Hartwell on the show, and Persia Pirotta was romantically involved with Duke Hudson.

In recent weeks, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta have schemed to get their romantic partners on the same page. While initially at odds, the two men eventually agreed to team up, and even faced NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly together on the April 19th episode of NXT 2.0.

While the Spring Breakin’ episode of NXT 2.0 didn’t reference Lumis and Pirotta directly, it did feature a segment where Indi Hartwell stared forlornly at her left hand, which no longer contained a wedding ring. Duke Hudson approached her, also looking upset. However, just when it seemed like the two could find solace in losing their partners, Hudson leaned in to kiss Indi Hartwell, who swiftly rejected his advance.

Taking to social media, Persia Pirotta responded to the segment in humorous fashion, saying:

“Dang the body isn’t even cold yet!”

Duke Hudson also had a humorous response to the segment, saying that it was “worth a shot.” NXT 2.0 has made it clear on their programming that Duke Hudson and Indi Hartwell have been romantically linked in the past, but that she is no longer interested in the fellow Australian.

Elsewhere on the Spring Breakin’ edition of NXT 2.0, Bron Breakker defeated Joe Gacy to retain his NXT Championship, and Wendy Choo unleashed chaos on the members of Toxic Attraction. Full results from the May 3rd episode can be found here.
