Paul Heyman Makes Bold Statement About What The Rock’s Addition Means For The Bloodline’s Future

Paul Heyman’s comments about The Rock being added to The Bloodline could be worrying news for WWE fans.

With Roman Reigns defeating many of the top names in the company in the lead-up to WrestleMania 39, many were under the impression that Cody Rhodes would be the one to dethrone The Tribal Chief and finish the story. However, following interference from Solo Sikoa, Reigns stood tall in the main event of WrestleMania for the third straight year.

In the press conference that followed, Heyman stated that this was only the third inning in The Bloodline saga. With the reference comparing the story to baseball, which has 9 innings, the future Hall of Famer alluded to the fact that The Bloodline and Reigns’ dominance is far from over.

With Reigns’ Undisputed Championship reign in more danger than ever with Rhodes once again challenging for the title, Reigns now has backup in the form of The Rock, who has hailed himself as The Final Boss. Acknowledging the inclusion of The Great One, Heyman has stated that this may extend the story once again.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, Heyman was once again asked about innings and how it relates to The Bloodline Saga. Heyman admitted that discussing innings has come back to haunt him but believes that The Rock’s inclusion will add to the story of The Bloodline:

“Every time I talk about innings, it gets shoved up my tuchus. Also, I’ve kind of gotten away from baseball analogies because I’ve learned in my experience that baseball is fake. Whatever inning that we’re in, we’re dominating that inning and it’s a game that I would suggest may go into many extra innings as well and some of that we have to give credit to the final boss, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, for adding a whole new set of layers and therefore innings to the story of The Bloodline.”

Who Should Induct Paul Heyman Into WWE Hall Of Fame?

On April 5th, Heyman will be recognised for his contributions to professional wrestling as he will be inducted into the 2024 call of the WWE Hall of Fame and will very likely be the headline act. Having a history in multiple promotions and being associated with some of the biggest stars in the industry, The Wiseman is not short on names available to introduce him to the Philadelphia crowd. During a recent interview, Roman Reigns gave his thoughts on who should induct Paul Heyman.

H/t to Fightful.
