Paul Heyman Explains Why He Has

WWE manager Paul Heyman revealed why he considers his role the “easiest job in the world.”

Speaking alongside WWE Superstar Roman Reigns in a candid discussion on “Bloomberg Live,” Paul Heyman shared insights into his unique position, managing two of the most prominent figures in wrestling history: Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Heyman explained:

I have the easiest job in the world. I get to hype someone I actually believe in. They never hand me a script. I don’t need a script.

His confidence stems from his genuine belief in the talents he represents, a sentiment he has maintained throughout his career. Reflecting on his two-decade-long partnership with Brock Lesnar, Heyman noted:

For 20 years, I worked with a gentleman named Brock Lesnar. He’s the only person in the world that’s ever held the UFC, the NCAA, and the WWE Heavyweight Championships. For 20 years, I hyped up Brock Lesnar. Never needed help in doing it.

Transitioning from Lesnar to Reigns, Heyman expressed his unwavering support for the former WWE Champion.

When Brock’s run was done, there was only one person I was ever willing to work with. I never thought they’d let us work together. It was Roman Reigns, because I believe in him. I believe he’s the best athlete in WWE.

He further emphasised his dedication, saying:

If I fell down on my way to the ring and I got a concussion, and you handed me a mic and said, just talk. I don’t need to think or memorise anything. I can always hype Roman Reigns because I authentically, genuinely, truly believe in him as the best athlete and the single best performer in the history of WWE.

When Did Paul Heyman Say He Will Make His Return To The WWE?

Paul Heyman spoke about when he would return to the WWE and said that he would return when it is relevant for him to come back, Heyman expressed that he doesn’t want to ride the coattails of Roman Reigns so will only come back to manage him when he feels that he can add to the storyline.

Also at the conference, Paul Heyman detailed his “sitcom theory” which he uses on WWE TV.
