Paul Heyman Discusses His Dream Survivor Series Team

When it comes to Survivor Series everyone has their own fantasy squad picked, now Paul Heyman shares his own dream team for the event.

Survivor Series began as an annual tradition in the then-WWF in 1987 and saw “teams of five strive to survive” in ten-man tag team action. Over the years, the event has seen team sizes fluctuate between five and four but the elimination tag team matches have been a mainstay throughout much of WWE’s second-longest-running pay-per-view’s tenure.

Speaking to Z100, the Special Counsel to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman gave his dream gang of four but expects it should only take three of his team to get the job done:

“Roman Reigns, The Usos, and I will even throw myself in there because I will never need to tag in. The three of them can handle any four beings on the face of the planet.”

If Heyman had looked to the past he could have had an all-star list that he has represented on-screen to pick from for his team. Paul Heyman has at various points throughout his career been associated with Bobby Eaton, Arn Anderson, Rick Rude, Larry Zbyszko, Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, CM Punk, and of course, Brock Lesnar.

Paul Heyman and The Bloodline had their hands full when Lesnar returned to SmackDown in Madison Square Garden. He issued a challenge to Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship which Reigns ultimately accepted. Brock Lesnar managed to sew seeds of doubt in The Bloodline as he asked Heyman publicly why his one time advocate hadn’t warned Roman Reigns that Brock Lesnar was going to show up at SummerSlam.
