Paul Heyman has commented on Seth Rollins’ Royal Rumble outburst.
In the closing stages of the 2025 Royal Rumble match, CM Punk eliminated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. However, within the next few seconds, fans saw Logan Paul eliminate Punk. Out from the star-studded match, Punk, and Reigns then engaged in an argument, when The Visionary snapped.
Dropping Reigns with a stomp on the floor mat, he then began a heated fight with The Second City Saint. The brawl continued as Rollins soon again dropped Reigns, with a stomp on the steel steps, after throwing indecent gestures at Paul Heyman and threatening him.
Rollins and Punk continued their fight before the two had to be separated by the management. Addressing the incident’s fallout on social media, Heyman commented on Rollins’ anger management issues.
“One could read this post as @PatMcAfeeShow calling @WWERollins an A-HOLE. Considering Mr. Rollins’ actions last night at @WWE #RoyalRumble, I would suggest Mr. Rollins’ lack of anger management has been provoked enough!”
While Jey Uso last eliminated John Cena to win the match, fans now expect a triple-threat match between Punk, Rollins, and Reigns at WrestleMania 41. With no other fixed feud directions for these three, the internet wrestling community has guessed this to be the plan.
CM Punk Explains How His WWE Departure Affected His Friendship With Paul Heyman
Speaking in an interview with Jackie Redmond,CM Punk discussed his relationship with Paul Heyman, and how it was affected during his time away from the promotion.
“No. We would talk very intermittently. We actually ran into each other at Laguardia airport one time and just, backs to the wall, looking forward and having a conversation. You have to understand when I left here and there was a lawsuit, all kinds of really really gun extra curricular stuff going on, I was advised by lawyers, ’You have to watch what you say to anybody because it could wind up facilitating it’s way back. I was super guarded. It was a rough time for relationships back then, and Paul was kind of no exception.”
