Before joining the main roster, Pat McAfee was a highlight of NXT in 2020. He wrestled a critically-acclaimed match vs. Adam Cole, before having similar success as part of the WarGames match. Names such as CM Punk and Jim Cornette praised his work, as the Pennsylvanian was a natural to pro wrestling.
Pat has wrestled two matches since transitioning into a full-time WWE announcer, defeating Theory on night two of WrestleMania 38 before losing to Vince McMahon. His next scheduled outing will see McAfee wrestle Happy Corbin, who accepted his challenge after Money in the Bank went off-air, at SummerSlam.
