WWE Commentator Pat McAfee suffered a brutal attack at the hands of Happy Corbin after Money in the Bank went off the air.
Pat McAfee and Happy Corbin have been involved in a war of words for several weeks now. Things started on the June 17th edition of WWE SmackDown when, following a loss to Madcap Moss, Corbin took exception to Pat McAfee’s commentary and verbally assaulted him.
The following week, McAfee stood on the announce desk and challenged Corbin to a match at SummerSlam, calling Corbin a “punk.”
Pat McAfee might come to regret those words as, after Money in the Bank went off the air, Baron Corbin responded to the challenge in violent fashion.
The former United States Champion appeared from the crowd behind McAfee and brutally attacked him, finishing things with an End of Days on the floor before yelling “Challenge accepted!”.

This will not be the first time Pat McAfee has taken to the ring as he has already wrestled a few times in WWE. Soon after signing with the company, he was involved in a feud with Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era that lasted for several months.
More recently, he went up against the new Mr. Money in the Bank, Theory, at WrestleMania 38, and, more surprisingly, clashed with Vince McMahon straight afterwards.
