Former WWE Superstar Parker Boudreaux has teased a collaboration with Hip-Hop megastar Drake.
On April 29th, Parker Boudreaux, who had been appearing as Harland, was released by WWE alongside nine other NXT 2.0 Superstars.
The star’s release came as a surprise to many fans, as his signing was greeted with much fanfare back in February 2021. The Florida native, had been frequently touted as the “Next Brock Lesnar” and had previously earned praise from Paul Heyman.
However, it was reported that WWE weren’t happy with Boudreaux’s progress in the ring, so the decision was made for him to be let go.
Following his departure it appears that the star is wasting little time in making his next move. Posting on social media, Boudreaux shared a screen grab of a conversation between himself and Angelo “Gelo” Ferraro, who is part of the entourage for Hip-Hop star Drake.
In the exchange, Ferrero appears to confirm that Drake wants to meet with the former NXT star. Although the tweet was later deleted, you can see the screen grab below.
Among the other names released were Dakota Kai, Malcom Bivens, Persia Pirotta and Dexter Lumis.
Following their respective exits from WWE it was reported that both Bivens and Dakota Kai had decided against extending their contracts with the company when they expired. Furthermore, a pitch had been made for Bivens to manage Omos on the main roster before the giant was placed with MVP.
Meanwhile, Persia Pirotta has launched a site offering exclusive content for fans. The star has launched the new venture under her real name Steph De Lander.
