It has been announced that PAC will make the first defence of his AEW All-Atlantic Championship on home soil.
On June 8th PAC won his way into the Four-Way match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to crown to the inaugural All-Atlantic Champion with victory over Buddy Matthews.
At the super-show in Chicago, the British star followed up with another win to claim the title, seeing off Miro, Malakai Black and Clark Connors. The victory handed PAC championship gold for the first time since 2019, and first title win in North America since 2017.
It has now been announced that the former WWE Superstar will make the first defence of his newly-won championship on home soil. In a post from RevPro UK, the promotion confirmed that PAC will be in action on July 10th, when he puts his title on the line in Sheffield against New Japan star Shota Umino.
The bout will be his first for the promotion since December 2019 when he was defeated by Michael Oku.

Speaking on a recent episode of his Gentleman Villain podcast, fellow Brit and AEW star William Regal heaped praise on the Newcastle-born grappler, commenting that he believes there’s no one better in the world today.
“I think he’s [PAC] as good as anyone walking the earth. I don’t see anything to do with his height. I know me and him have a lot of the same things as far as music and youth culture stuff, and he just looks like somebody who would smash the granny out of somebody.”
PAC signed with AEW in January 2019 and has since feuded with the likes of Kenny Omega and Andrade El Idolo.
