Hollywood actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. was a part of the heavily booed Hulk Hogan segment at Raw’s Netflix premiere.

Last week on 6th January, WWE began its Netflix era. On the much-awaited Raw on Netflix premiere, several stars, including The Rock, John Cena, and even Hulk Hogan, made their heavily anticipated returns.

Unfortunately, Hoga’s return segment did not go as planned. Appearing mid-way through the show, The Hulkster tried promoting his beer company, only to get submerged with heavy boos from the crowd.

Premiering at the Intuit arena in Los Angeles, the debut episode was graced by the presence of several celebrities as well, including Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr, who did not approve of Hogan’s appearance.

Speaking in an interview on Sway’s Universe. Jackson revealed his participation in the heavily booed segment.

“I was one of them. ’Ill show you the video. Me, Eric Andre and Wale was giving it to him. The n***a hating. The racism, bro. It’s just hard to forget how detailed that rant was. If you look up his rant, it’s very detailed…Bringing him out here, what did you think was gonna happen? We heard the music and it was like oh, hold on. They let him have it and that’s a pivotal moment in wrestling history. I’m glad I was there.”

Despite being a fan favorite in the prime of his career, Hogan’s popularity has taken a back seat in recent times, more noticeably after his racist remarks in 2015. Fans still remember those comments and made sure to have their disapproval known.

Despite the unfortunate Raw on Netflix appearance, Hulk Hogan is now due to appear on Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio, TX.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias Claims WWE Should Have Been Prepared For Hulk Hogan’s Raw Segment

Addressing the unexpected Hulk Hogan booing incident on Raw on Netflix premiere, comedian Gabriel Iglesias shared his thoughts about the segment. Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show, he said,

“That was painful watching Hulk Hogan get booed last night. I’m like, ‘Wow.’ Yeah, from great to hate. That was ugly. That was ugly. But, I mean, at the same time — WWE should have known better. You know that Hulk Hogan’s been out there on this political train, trying to sell his beer and trying to be on the Trump train. So you take somebody like that and you put them in a blue state, in LA, what else was going to happen? That might be the reaction.”
