Original Pre-Injury WWE Plans For Liv Morgan Revealed

WWE Star Liv Morgan Lands “One Of the Most Impressive Gets” In Upcoming Hollywood Film But Major Project Ruled Out

Sidelined with injury, WWE reportedly had big plans for Liv Morgan.

Last week, on the June 16th episode of Raw, Morgan faced off against Kairi Sane in a singles match. However, within just minutes of the bout, Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder injury, ruling her out of action. Following the release of a timeline addressing Morgan’s absence, further details have emerged about the promotion’s original plans for her before her injury.

In a recent update by Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, Liv Morgan was originally scheduled to face Iyo Sky at Night of Champions on June 28th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Sky and Morgan have long been involved in a cold feud for the past few weeks, and their scheduled title match would have done justice to their rivalry.

Later, in another update by Cory Hays of BodySlam.net, it was also noted that several plans were changed following Morgan’s injury. One such plan was the development of more turmoil in the Judgment Day leading to a mixed-tag match at SummerSlam 2025, where Morgan and Dominik Mysterio were expected to go against Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez.

Now sidelined from in-ring action, a promising former NXT Women’s Champion has been reported as Morgan’s replacement in the Judgment Day.

We at ITR Wrestling wish Liv Morgan a safe and steady recovery.

WWE Veteran CM Punk Calls Liv Morgan The MVP Of 2025

Earlier this month, during his appearance on Fanatics Fest, CM Punk heaped praise on Liv Morgan and called her 2025’s MVP.

Shoutout to Liv Morgan who recently got injured, she was like my MVP for the year. I look at people like Liv who probably started right after I left, 2014-ish, and just from the time I’ve been around her and been able to see her work, just the way she’s developed this last year and just broken out of her shell and turned into this little worker, it kinda warms my heart.”
