Bobby Lashley is officially All Elite, but it could have happened a lot sooner!
Closing out the October 30th episode of Dynamite, a returning Swerve Strickland defeated Shelton Benjamin. Surprisingly calm despite the loss, MVP got on the phone to confirm the next stage of his plan, which was the arrival of the former WWE Champion.
Dominant in his debut, Lashley joined forces with MVP and Benjamin to take out Strickland, Prince Nana and security before MVP yelled “Guess who’s back in business” to close out the show.
Although Lashley’s debut was expected at some point given the previous reports and signings of MVP and Benjamin, a new update has revealed that it could have taken place a few weeks prior.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Lashley was signed back in September shortly before MVP made his own debut at Grand Slam. In regards to an earlier debut, there were plans to have Lashley confront and attack Strickland at WrestleDream but this was delayed considering the shocking end angle that took place involving Bryan Danielson.
