Orange Cassidy is no longer entering to the familiar Pixies song as he has a new theme tune!
AEW is no stranger to using licensed music for its stars, and the sounds of Where Is My Mind by the Pixies have become synonymous with Orange Cassidy’s appearances in AEW, but as he teased ahead of his match with Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door, it’s time for him to get something new.
When Ospreay taunted his opponent by saying that he had new gear that would be “so extra,” Cassidy responded by saying that he would be getting something new too. A report from Fightful Select indicated that he would be changing his theme music to Jane by Jefferson Starship, but on the night of the show, he was once again accompanied by the Pixies.
However, the next Wednesday at Blood and Guts, Orange Cassidy opened the show by making his entrance to Janeahead of his match against All Ego Ethan Page.
The match escalated with frenetic energy toward the end, leading Cassidy to use his signature orange juice to spit in the face of Dan Lambert, who’d been taunting him at ringside. In the end, Orange Cassidy was victorious, and the sounds of Jane played once again.
Later in the night, Orange Cassidy tweeted about both the new theme and the return of Best Friends to accompany him to the ring.
“The boys are back and this is my song now.”

Though the theme is new to AEW audiences, it’s familiar to long time Freshly Squeezed fans as the star used the song when he was competing in independent promotions prior to becoming All Elite.
