Orange Cassidy Admits He Isn’t A Leader In AEW

Orange Cassidy making his entrance on AEW Collision

Orange Cassidy isn’t prepared to step up in AEW.

In recent weeks, Jon Moxley has been leading the Blackpool Combat Club on a rampage through All Elite Wrestling. On Collision, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta retained the Trios Titles against Action Andretti and Top Flight.

Things didn’t end there, though, as Moxley joined the group in the ring as they continued to beat down their opponents as well as fighting off attempted assists from Lio Rush, Leila Grey, and The Dark Order.

In a backstage video, Daniel Garcia and Private Party were talking about their win over Premier Athletes when OC walked into frame. Garcia got serious, addressing the BCC’s actions and asking Cassidy to step up.

“We were waiting for you all night, you’ve seen what it’s like out there. It’s not about being a hero, it’s not about being a tough guy, it’s about holding each other accountable. We’re coming to you because you’ve been there before, you beat all these guys before, and I think it’s time for you to step up.”

Unfortunately, OC wasn’t interested, admitting that fighting the members of the BCC always changed him before saying he was “no leader.”

“Yeah, I have been there before, and every time I step in that ring with one of those guys, it changes me. I’m no leader. I’m just not that guy.”

AEW Veteran Believes Orange Cassidy Can Be “The Man”

Jerry Lynn has told Orange Cassidy that he could be the man in AEW if he wants to be. The veteran star told Cassidy that he’s seen him step up before and thinks he has everything it takes to be the face of the company. Hook backed up Lynn’s words, telling him he was already “the man.”
