Oney Lorcan Set For New WWE Role

Biff Busick - Oney Lorcan

Oney Lorcan is set to return to WWE to take up a new role in NXT, a little over a year after being released by the company.

Biff Busick, formerly known as Oney Lorcan, is seemingly on his way back to WWE and the Performance Center. A new report from PWInsider has claimed that the former NXT star will be working as a guest coach with WWE’s developmental brand in the coming days.

Mike Johnson adds that it would be a “smart pickup” for WWE to secure his services on a full-time basis given his skills in the ring.

Biff Busick signed with WWE in 2015, where he later found success in NXT teaming with Danny Burch as Oney Lorcan. During this period the duo won the NXT Tag Team Championships. Lorcan was released by the company on November 4th 2021.

Busick has wrestled across the North American independent circuit since his non-compete clause expired, facing top indie prospects like Jordan Oliver and Kevin Ku, as well as fellow ex-WWE stars such as Dirty Dango and Blake Christian. Biff last wrestled on 12 June for Beyond Wrestling, facing Alec Price.

The star announced back in July that he was taking time away from the ring, apologising to anyone who had contacted him regarding bookings.
