Former NXT star Oney Lorcan has apparently been working at the WWE Performance Center for a while.

Oney Lorcan won the NXT Tag Team Championships with Danny Burch on October 21st, 2020. The following year, Lorcan requested his release from the company, which he was granted on November 4th.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was suggested that Lorcan is now back working for WWE, except this time as a full-time coach at the Performance Center.

“There were stories about Oney Lorcan (Chris Girard, 36), working as a guest coach this week at the Performance Center. When asked about it, we were told he’s not a guest coach and has been there for a while as a full-time coach.”

As noted, many ex-WWE talents and personnel have returned under the new regime. On August 22nd, WON reported that WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg re-signed with the company after he was released back in January due to budget cuts. Road Dogg is set to make his onscreen return this coming Monday on Raw as part of the 25th anniversary of Degeneration-X.

In addition, several wrestlers have made shocking returns to WWE, including Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, and others. There is heavy speculation that former Universal Champion Bray Wyatt may be coming back into the fold soon.
