During his career, Cody Rhodes has wrestled for almost every major promotion in the world.
While he’s currently back with WWE, his spell from 2016-2022 outside of the company saw him share the ring with the very best outside of that bubble.
Due to injury, Rhodes has only been involved in one major rivalry since returning to WWE, but it still featured one of the company’s biggest stars, Seth Rollins. The American Nightmare defeated Rollins the night he returned at WrestleMania 38 before coming out on top at WrestleMania Backlash and inside inside Hell In A Cell.
Rhodes famously entered the third match with a serious pectoral injury but wrestled regardless, putting on an instant classic with The Visionary.

During an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Rhodes praised Rollins as one of the best wrestlers in the world.
“I mean, this is Seth who, he’s won every title known to man. He’s in my book, I have my three top wrestlers and I try not to be in just our WWE bubble. I tried to look everywhere, and I’ve wrestled everybody. I think he’s, I always say he’s top three, he’s incredible, unreal.”
Cody Rhodes only returned from the aforementioned injury at the Royal Rumble where he entered the match at number 30. The former AEW star went on to eliminate five Superstars to claim a memorable win. With the victory, Rhodes has secured himself a shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
On the following episode of Raw, Rhodes addressed the Tribal Chief and charted his rise from his first day in WWE to now. In the show’s main event, Rhodes saw off Finn Balor.
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins was also victorious on Raw, earning a place in the Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship on February 18th.
