WWE Superstar Omos shed light on how John Cena acts backstage. The WWE legend, who is halfway through his Farewell Tour, was spoken of in high regard by Omos in a recent PFSN interview, where he described Cena to be “the ultimate professional.”
The Nigerian Giant shared that John Cena regularly visits the WWE Performance Center despite his busy schedule. He recalled his first meeting with the star, who was visiting, but not on official business. He was just there to help out the wrestlers present at the PC. Omos raved about the 17-time World Champion taking time to speak to whoever wanted help individually, as opposed to just giving a speech and leaving. He said:
“For someone to take time out of their busy schedule to come out to the Performance Center and not only to speak to us and leave, but to sit in the room and speak to us one by one. That spoke volumes and showed what type of person he is.”
He went on to highlight the Cenation Leader’s professionalism and how easily approachable he was, despite his status in the WWE. He added:
“Oh, he’s awesome. He’s the ultimate professional. He’s very astute about the wrestling business. He’s always been an open ear to anybody who wants to learn or ask for advice. And he’s always tried to make himself accessible.”
Cena has always been known to be one of the kindest people in the business. His record-breaking work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is a testament to that. So, it comes as no surprise to hear about the GOAT’s behavior once the cameras aren’t rolling.
Omos Renews His WWE Contract
The Nigerian Giant has been absent from WWE television for nearly a year. He was last seen at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal last year.
In a recent interview, Omos revealed that things were great between him and WWE and that he had renewed his contract and, in the star’s own words, he was “there for years to come.”
