Omos opens about training with Brock Lesnar in WWE and experiencing his first suplex.
It’s rare to see anybody overpower and tower over Brock Lesnar, but Omos managed to do both. Both giants clashed at WrestleMania 39, where The Beast Incarnate delivered an impressive Suplex to his rival.
On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Omos was asked if there were concerns of Brock suplexing him. The former answered no, and he was never worried, explaining that if Bobby Lashley could do it, then Lesnar could too. The Nigerian Giant even revealed that it was his first time taking a suplex.
Brock, he’s a specimen. I wasn’t worried at all. People forget he’s a farm boy. He throws hay for a living. So him picking me up at 300-400 pounds. I knew he was gonna be able to do that. If Bobby can pick me up, I knew he could. That was my first time ever taking a suplex. Never taken it in training, never done it in PC, not from anyone. That’s the first time I ever took it in German suplex was during that match.”
Omos shared that during rehearsals, Lesnar asked him first how many German Suplexes he wanted to do, to which the former said it’s up to Brock since he was doing him a “favor with this match.”
The 31-year-old continued that he is okay with doing as many suplexes as will make Brock look good.
Omos Says Brock Lesnar’s German Suplex Hurts More Than The F5
During the same appearance with Chris Van Vliet, Omos shared that taking Lesnar’s finishing move was easy, but the suplexes were unpleasant. He then described how he felt caged and helpless under Brock’s grip.
“That F5 was easy. The Germans sucked. But for the first time in my entire life, I never felt someone hook me that way, and I could feel the muscles contract when he picked me up. For the first time I felt that ‘oh sh*t, I can’t do anything.’”
In other news: Omos thinks Bron Breakker should be built like Brock Lesnar.
