In a recent interview, ODB has named her favourite TNA Opponents.
ODB first appeared for Total Nonstop Action in 2003, and following a brief stint in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) signed a full-time contract with the Nashville-based promotion in 2007. In her first tenure with the company, the former Tough Enough participant won the Knockouts Championship on four separate occasions.
“In TNA, all of us came from the independent scene. Kong came from Japan. The Beautiful People. Traci Brooks. It was just so cool because we were all so different but we were a team. It’s not about one person or two people. It’s about this whole division and that’s what kept us strong. I loved working with the Beautiful People because we were so opposite. It was so easy. Their characters were fun and we did some fun stuff. It was kind of a night off.”
The former Knockouts Tag Team Champion then went on to add how she and Awesome Kong would gel together due to the similarity of size between the two, before stating how she always was a big fan of Gail Kim due to her being a sound technical wrestler:
“Also, working with Awesome Kong was great because I had always been the bigger girl. So having someone whoop my ass was fun. Then Gail Kim always made me step up my game. She is one of the best. A very technical wrestler and has a great mind for wrestling. She got me out of my comfort zone a lot. Which I loved.”
ODB made her final appearance for the company on the March 16, 2021, episode of Impact Wrestling in a 12-women tag match. She also made a surprise appearance at the inaugural AEW All Out-Buy In, participating in the Casino Battle Royal.
