Jinny has announced her retirement from wrestling due to an unknown injury.
Taking to social media, the former NXT UK star announced the retirement while stating the following:
After a long time away due to an injury, I have made the decision to hang up my fashionable boots. Thank you for all the memories. I’ll remember for them forever. Every journey has an end, but in life, every ending is just a new beginning. I’m excited about what’s next

Prior to signing with WWE, Jinny had a successful run on the British independent wrestling scene. Couture would wrestle for Progress and Rev Pro, becoming the women’s champion in both of these promotions.
Jinny would be introduced to the WWE Universe in 2018, taking part in the Mae Young Classic tournament. The future NXT UK star would be eliminated in the first round by eventual winner Toni Storm. Following the conclusion of the tournament, Jinny would be announced as a member of the British brand’s roster.
Couture’s last match in the company would take place in November 2021. Jinny would win her final match while signed to the promotion, defeating Amale via pinfall.
Following the departure from the ring and the closure of the UK brand, Jinny is still involved in the wrestling world. the former NXT star is one of the hosts on BT Sport’s show The Run-In, which is marketed at the British audience. The show features discussions about big upcoming WWE events, along with interviews with various members of the main roster.
The UK based brand ran from June 2018 to September 2022. The show was designed to be the first of many international promotions owned by the company, a strategy presented by Triple H as part of WWE’s global expansion. The show is best remembered for the lengthy United Kingdom Championship reign of WALTER, now known as Gunther on the main roster.
The brand’s final representation came at the 2022 Worlds Collide event, which saw the unifying of NXT UK Championships with their NXT equivalents.
