Tonight’s show opened with a video package hyping up the NXT UK Women’s Championship showdown between Kay Lee Ray and Meiko Satomura, with words from Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Sasha Banks and more.

Ilja Dragunov vs. Sam Gradwell

  • Gradwell slaps Dragunov in the face immediately after the bell, to which Dragunov responds with a takedown.
  • Dragunov gains momentum and climbs to the top rope before Gradwell pushes the ropes, sending his opponent crashing to the outside.
  • Referee Tom Scarborough calls for a clean break, but Gradwell hit a cheap-shot when the referee’s vision was blocked.
  • Gradwell sends Dragunov into the middle turnbuckle as he dodges an incoming Torpedo Moskau, causing the turnbuckle pad to be removed.
  • Dragunov wins via TKO with multiple twelve-to-six elbows to Gradwell’s head.
  • After the match, Dragunov keeps attacking Gradwell and seems to have a mental breakdown as he is sent to the back.

  • We see a cinematic video package that reveals that NXT UK’s new signee Teoman (formerly Lucky Kid) is set to make his in-ring debut next week.
  • Xia Brookside and Aleah James are chilling over some lovely looking pastry backstage. Brookside orders Nina Samuels to make her and James a cup of tea, which she reluctantly does as Brookside’s personal assistant for a month.

Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions with Tyler Bate

  • Noam Dar belittles Tyler Bate’s age with a hint of jealousy of the inaugural NXT UK Champion’s accomplishments
  • Dar rips into Bate’s vegan diet by handing him a broccoli and feeding him a bag of leaves.
  • Positive in his Heritage Cup loss to A-Kid, Bate seems confident ahead of his match against Dave Mastiff next week.
  • Bate reveals that following a coversation with NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint, his match next week will be conducted under Heritage Cup rules.
  • Ben Carter is seen training at the NXT UK Performance Center with British wrestling veteran James Mason.
  • Carter displays his excitement to learn a more British style from Mason, after stating that most of his training has been in America thus far.
  • We see an eerie video package where a candlelit Isla Dawn is playing with a Ouija board.

Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith vs. Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan

  • Kenny Williams and Oliver Carter offer a kinetic start to the match.
  • Ashton Smith tags in and focuses on more power-based offence.
  • Amir Jordan attempts to slow Smith down with a roll-up, but Smith proves too powerful.
  • Jordan and Williams hit Smith and Carter with synchronised suicide dives to the outside.
  • Amir Jordan reverses Kenny Williams’ roll-up with help from his tag partner on the outside to secure the victory.

  • Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams are ecstatic at their win despite their questionable method of victory.
  • Williams and Jordan are set to face former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster next week.

NXT UK Women’s Championship: Kay Lee Ray vs. Meiko Satomura

  • Meiko Satomura takes an early advantage as she grounds the champion.
  • Aoife Valkyrie is seen watching from the sidelines.
  • Ray targets Satomura’s throat and follows up with a plethora of kicks to the chest.
  • The champion takes the match to the outside as a result of Satomura making a small comeback.
  • Satomura connects with a Death Valley Bomb on the apron, almost leading to Ray being counted out.
  • Back in the ring, Ray hits a huge DDT from the corner before following up with a Koji Clutch.
  • Satomura manages to land another Death Valley Bomb in the ring as a result of Ray taking too much time climbing the ropes.
  • The champion blocks an incoming frog splash from the top rope and follows up with a Gory Bomb, however Satomura kicks out.
  • Ray blocks a Scorpion Rising, attempts a second Gory Bomb but ends up eating a superkick and a destroyer.
  • Kay Lee Ray hits a third and final Gory Bomb to retain the NXT UK Women’s Championship after a hard-fought match.

Winner: Kay Lee Ray via pinfall

  • Kay Lee Ray helps Meiko Satomura up after the match and both women show a sign of respect as the champion’s 551-day reign continues.
