NXT UK Results: Ilja Dragunov vs. Sam Gradwell match graphic

Follow all of tonight’s NXT UK live results as the show emanates from BT Sport Studios once again, as Ilja Dragunov is set to face Sam Gradwell in a No Disqualification Match.

Matches and segments scheduled for tonight’s show include:

  • Noam Dar‘s Supernova Sessions with Trent Seven
  • Joseph Conners vs. Jack Starz
  • Primate & Tyson T-Bone in tag team action
  • Aleah James vs. Isla Dawn
  • Ilja Dragunov vs. Sam Gradwell (No Disqualification Match)

Last night on NXT stateside, it was announced that NXT UK Champion WALTER will defend his title against Tommaso Ciampa on the first night of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Less than 24 hours later, WALTER will clash with Rampage Brown at NXT UK: Prelude.

Noam Dar’s Supernova Sessions with Trent Seven

  • Trent Seven is not impressed with his introduction from Dar.
  • Noam Dar makes fun of Seven’s loss to Jordan Devlin last week.
  • Dar harks back to his experience in “the original cruiserweight division”, visibly frustrated with Seven’s championship opportunity.
  • Sha Samuels comes out to back Noam Dar as the conversation becomes heated.
  • Moustache Mountain will face Noam Dar and Sha Samuels in two weeks.
  • Sid Scala informs Jinny that she and Piper Niven will be banned from ringside for Joseph Conners’ match against Jack Starz.
  • We see a hype package for WALTER vs. Rampage Brown, with words from William Regal, Fit Finlay, Robbie Brookside and more.

Jack Starz vs. Joseph Conners

  • Jack Starz shows off his technical ability as he evades Conners’ offence in the early stages.
  • Starz takes control of Conners and backs him into the corner, however Conners catches his opponent with a stomp.
  • Starz valiantly fights back with a flurry of strikes followed by a shoulder tackle, but cannot keep Conners down.
  • Conners catches his opponent with a DDT and follows up with a neck-breaker. “Your 15 minutes have just expired”, he says as he picks up the pinfall victory.

Winner: Joseph Conners via pinfall

  • Pretty Deadly announce that they will defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championship against Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan on the April 1 episode of NXT UK.
  • Jack Starz is seen apologising to Piper Niven about his loss. Niven is supportive in his loss and offers her hand in training.

Primate & Tyson T-Bone w/ Eddie Dennis vs. Josh Morrell & Danny Jones

  • Tyson T-Bone and Josh Morrell open the match.
  • Morrell gets overpowered immediately and forced into his opposite corner as T-Bone and Primate attack Morrell.
  • Eddie Dennis barks orders from ringside as Jones is immediately isolated.
  • Jones manages to hit Primate with a backbreaker, before tagging in his partner.
  • Dennis takes a keen interest in T-Bone as he is a new acquisition for the team.
  • Primate attacks Morrell on the outside as the referee is distracted.
  • “Finish him off”, orders Dennis as Primate and T-Bone pick up the win with a powerslam/diving headbutt combination.

Winners: Primate & Tyson T-Bone w/ Eddie Dennis

  • Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan address their upcoming NXT UK Tag Team Championship opportunity as they train at the Performance Center.

Aleah James vs. Isla Dawn

  • James takes down Dawn early on.
  • Dawn breaks free and hits a flurry of knee strikes, following up with a high-angle suplex.
  • Dawn sends her opponent into the ropes, however James turns it into a springboard dropkick and reverses the momentum.
  • Isla Dawn hits two suplexes in quick succession, picking up the win with a bridge.

Winner: Isla Dawn via pinfall

  • Nina Samuels seems relieved that her time as Xia Brookside’s personal assistant has come to an end, however Brookside informs her that she still has some time left and orders her to clean the men’s bathroom.
  • Kay Lee Ray sees Isla Dawn walking back after he match. “Maybe you would be in my position right now”, the NXT UK Women’s Champion said, impressed by Dawn’s new-found aggression.

Ilja Dragunov vs. Sam Gradwell (No Disqualification Match)

  • Ilja Dragunov seems more calm and controlled than usual as he makes his way into the ring.
  • Sam Gradwell attacks Dragunov during the latter’s entrance and blinds him with his jacket.
  • After being sent to the outside, Gradwell grabs a steel chair from under the ring.
  • With the steel chair in his hands, Dragunov chooses to remain calm and subsequently does not use the chair as a weapon.
  • Gradwell picks up the ring bell and takes a swing at his running opponent, then uses a camera cable as a whip.
  • With momentum on his side, Gradwell suplexes his opponent onto a steel chair in the ring and removes two turnbuckle pads.
  • Ilja Dragunov climbs up to the top rope, however Gradwell moves the top rope, sending the Russian flying face-first into the exposed turnbuckle.
  • Dragunov picks up the ring steps and is about to swing at his opponent, however Gradwell manages to talk him out of it, capitalising with a chair-shot of his own.
  • “I’ve got a son, too”, repeats Gradwell as he begs for mercy on the outside
  • A chop to the back sends Dragunov into a furious rage as he pummels his opponent with a chair.
  • Referee Artemis Ortygie awards the win to Ilja Dragunov via TKO.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov via TKO
