WWE have officially confirmed that NXT TakeOver: WarGames will air on traditional pay-per-view as well as on the award winning WWE Network.
Though no pay-per-view provider has been been announced as of yet, it has been announced that this year’s WarGames will have a price tag of $59.95 and include the thirty minute Kickoff Show and an option to view the event in HD.
WarGames isn’t the first NXT TakeOver to be offered on the traditional medium. NXT TakeOver 31 was also made available in September in what now seems to be an ongoing partnership between WWE and box office providers.
Alongside the announcement, WWE also exhibited the news that Shotzi Blackheart will battle Raquel Gonzalez in a Ladder Match on the December 2 edition of the black and gold brand in order to determine the numbers advantage for the women’s WarGames bout four days later.
This comes hot off the heels of Pete Dunne defeating Kyle O’Reilly in the same match, with the same stipulations on the November 25 edition to give The Kings of NXT the advantage in their battle with The Undisputed Era.
So far, NXT TakeOver: WarGames shapes up like this:
- The Kings of NXT vs. The Undisputed Era – WarGames Match
- Team Blackheart vs. Team LeRae – WarGames Match
- Leon Ruff vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest – NXT North American Championship Match
- Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes – Strap Match
WarGames will air live from the Capitol Wrestling Center on December 6.
