NXT TakeOver: WarGameswill be returning for its fourth iteration on December 6th and both of the show’s WarGames matches are already set!

The return of the black and gold brand’s end-of-year event was announced in a video package during last night’s episode of NXT. In it, Shotzi Blackheart is seen setting up very implements including bullets, blowtorches, a hammer and a chainsaw whilst delivering a voiceover announcing the show’s return:

“People like to tear you down. They wanna destroy everything. But in life, you rebuild. You rebuild and you rise up. Candice, you better get yourself an army because I know something that you don’t. December 6th, we are going to war!”

The video also set up the first of two WarGames matches on the show, with Candice LeRae heading up one team and Shotzi Blackheart leading the other. No other members have been announced for either team yet, though based on recent events, it can be speculated that Indi Hartwell will join Team Candice whilst Toni Storm allies with Team Shotzi.

The second WarGames match was revealed on social media shortly after NXT concluded. We see the aftermath of the main event after the show went off the air with The Kings of NXT continuing to brawl with Undisputed Era before the two groups are eventually separated. Then, William Regal made his way to the ring and confirmed that Undisputed Era would take on The Kings of NXT at NXT TakeOver: WarGames with his now-signature cry of “WarGames!”.

Elsewhere on NXT, both Io Shirai and Leon Ruff successfully retained their championships and Kevin Owens was announced as a guest commentator for next week’s episode!
