NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver will emanate from the Capitol Wrestling Center inside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as NXT presents its second TakeOver event of the year!

The 34th NXT TakeOver is set to feature seven championship matches across two nights! Night 1 will see the NXT United Kingdom, NXT Tag Team and NXT Women’s Championships be defended whilst night 2 will feature defences of the NXT Women’s Tag Team, Cruiserweight, North American and NXT Championships!

Elsewhere on the show: Pete Dunne will take on Kushida after Dunne claimed he was the greatest in-ring technician in the world whilst Kyle O’Reilly will finally get his hands on Adam Cole in an Unsanctioned match, the two being on a collision course ever since Cole betrayed O’Reilly and broke up The Undisputed ERA.

Santos Escobar defeats Jordan Devlin to become the Unified NXT Cruiserweight Champion

  • Prior to the match Poppy performs a metal cover of Adam and The Ants Stand and Deliver hit.
  • Devlin hits a Springboard Moonsault to the outside, wiping out Escobar against the Announce Table.
  • Devlin takes a huge spill into a prone ladder before Escobar begins to work over ‘The Irish Ace’ on the outside.
  • Santos hits a picture perfect Suicide Dive to the outside sending Devlin flying into a prone Ladder once again.
  • Devlin comes flying off a ladder before connecting with a Satellite DDT in mid-air.
  • Jordan Devlin sends all his weight crashing down on Escobar following a Twisting Spanish Fly.
  • ‘The Irish Ace’ climbs to the very top of the the Ladder before hitting a Moonsault onto Escobar.
  • Devlin appears to have the match won before LDF send him crashing over the top rope.
  • Escobar and Devlin are wiped out by a intense Spanish Fly off the ladder.
  • Santos headbutts Devlin off the ladder sending him flying through a prone ladder before retrieving both titles and crowning himself the one true champion.

Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon (c) defeat The Way to retain the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship

  • LeRae and Blackheart kick things off renewing their stories rivalry, early on it’s LeRae that comes out on top utilising her partners height and strength advantage to isolate the tag-champs.
  • Moon eventually makes the tag, connecting with a stiff Discuss Elbow Strike to the temple of CLR.
  • Ember holds open the middle rope for a Shotzi Blackheart Suicide Dive however the dive is misaligned and Shotzi barely avoids landing Skull first on the outside.
  • Step-up Enziguri from Blackheart sets Ember from the Double Eclipse into Ballsy Drop from Blackheart to pick up the win.

Johnny Gargano (c) defeats Bronson Reed to retain the North American Championship (One Final Beat)

  • Reed cartwheels out of a ‘rana attempt from Garagno before powering him down with a huge shoulder charge.
  • Fallaway Slam from Reed wipes Gargano down again before the North American Champion is worked over in the corner.
  • Slingshot Spear from Gargano is not enough to take Reed down however it is enough to reinjure the waist area of Reed.
  • Gable Steveson unveiled in the crowd during the match along side Stephanie McMahon
  • Gargano continues to work over the back of Reed hitting a rope assisted Backstabber onto The Thicc Boi.
  • Gargano wipes out Reed with a picturesque Poison ‘Rana before locking in the Gargano Escape.
  • Gargano is tossed over the top rope by the Crucifix Bomb however he is able to roll-out the way and avoid the Tsunami.
  • Reed attempts the Tsunami a second time however Theory provides a distraction on the outside preventing Reed coming off the top.
  • Gargano comes through the middle rope and is caught into the Fireman’s Carry by Reed.
  • Reed hits the Moonsault but Gargano moves out the way before hitting not one but two Final Beats to retain via pinfall.

Karrion Kross defeats Finn Balor to capture the NXT Championship

  • Balor has a unique extended entrance recapping his storied NXT career and TakeOver moments.
  • Balor laughs in Kross face only aggravating the larger Kross however Balor responds with a slap to the face
  • Match takes the form of Balor being defiant in any form of aggression from Kross with Kross getting increasingly frustrated
  • Kross steps out of a float over Suplex and counters with a short armed lariat
  • Shotgun Dropkick attempt from Balor countered by a follow up Clothesline by Kross.
  • Kross kicks out of a pinfall and immeidatly transitions into a Rear-Naked Choke
  • Kross hits a flurry of elbow strikes to the back of Balor’s Skull before hitting the Hidden Blade to pick up the win.

Kyle O’Reilly defeats Adam Cole via pinfall (Diving Knee Strike)– Unsanctioned match

  • New themes for both KOR and Adam Cole who are separated by security prior to the bell.
  • Cole is hit with the Slingshot into the Plexiglass before being thrown again into the glass.
  • The former Undisputed Era members wield Steel Chairs against one another with Cole’s featuring a spray painting of the UE logo.
  • Cole sends Kyle neck first down onto a Steel Chair before O’Reilly responds with a flying dropkick.
  • Kyle O’Reilly is sent neck first onto a Steel Chain before Cole ties the Chain around the ring ropes.
  • O’Reilly wraps the chain around his boot before kicking Cole repeatedly in the face.
  • Cole pulls up the chain and wipes out O’Reilly in mid sprint.
  • Kyle hit’s a Brainbuster onto Cole on the announce table before Cole responds cracking Kyle over the scull with a Monitor.
  • Cole is caught in a Triangle Choke assisted by the steel chain, however Cole hits O’Reilly with a tire iron shot to the ribs to break the hold.
  • The former best friends sit on mirroring seats and exchange stiff strikes to the skull and upper body before Cole comes out on top following a low blow.
  • Kyle sets up for a conchairto however the referee pleads with him to stop causing Cole to lay out the referee with a right hand, Cole connects with the Panama Sunrise however the ref is out and unable to count the fall.
  • Kyle locks in a Guillotine Choke on the apron, Cole passes out with O’Reilly still mounting him and both competitors are sent crashing through the entrance ramp.
  • Brainbuster on the Steel Steps from Cole is not enough as Cole gets just his shoulder off the mat.
  • Cole sets up for One Last Shot however O’Reilly passes out avoiding the shot before locking in a Heel Hook which is only broken once Cole punches him in the face with the Steel Chain.
  • O’Reilly hits The Last Shot to Cole but Cole is able to kick out at two.
  • O’Reilly wraps his knee in a steel chain and hits the diving knee of the top rope sending Cole skull first through a inverted steel chair.
