Though the events of the All Out media scrum were very serious for those involved, two NXT stars have found the light in the situation.
What happened during AEW’s All Out media scrum led to major consequences for everyone involved. CM Punk, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks remain absent from the company, while a litany of producers have now returned to work after also being suspended.
Despite the severity of what happened, NXT stars Edris Enofe and Malik Blade found humour in the situation. They’ve mocked the incident, particularly CM Punk, in the second episode of their YouTube series, Black Table Talk. Hilariously, the episode was titled SCRUMptious in one of many obvious digs:
[Enofe] “@maxojean9 asks, ‘Will you try to win a championship?’ Will you try to win some b*tches!? They’re acting like we’re sitting here not trying to win sh*t. That’s what they’re acting like [laughs]. You probably share a bank account with your mom, all right? I’m sorry if I’m coming off a little bit snippy. I’m old, I’m young and I’m f*cking tired.”
During the skit, Edris Enofe also sat with a towel around his neck eating a sweet, as CM Punk did during the media scrum, while Malik Blade drank from a water bottle in the same manner as Tony Khan did during the debacle.
Enofe and Blade have risen through the ranks of NXT’s tag team division since coming together at the start of 2022, making it to the semifinals of the men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They last wrestled on the brand’s 20 September broadcast, losing to The Dyad.
