According to a new report NXT star Cameron Grimes could be set to appear on the October 17th episode of Monday Night Raw. It has been claimed that Grimes will be present at the taping, although there a number of possibilities for what he may end up doing.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Grimes will be in attendance at the taping. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that he will be appearing on the red brand. Johnson notes that could be set to wrestle on main event as Carmelo Hayes did at the previous taping. Although this is far from certain.
Johnson adds that it’s possible that Grimes could make an appearance on Raw to progress the current NXT storyline which will see a number of main roster stars appear on the October 18th edition of the show. The episode has taken on extra significance as it will see the show go up against AEW Dynamite for the first time in over a year.
Cameron Grimes signed with WWE in 2019 and was immediately positioned in NXT. The star went on to become one of the most popular figures on the brand, enjoying a memorable storyline with Ted DiBiase, before winning the NXT North American Championship.
