Wrestling tattoos are nothing out of the ordinary, but one wrestler currently contracted to WWE NXT made waves on social media when decided to declare his loyalty to WWE by getting a large WWE logo tattoo on his chest.
Edris Enofe signed with the sports entertainment giant in late 2021, and in recent months he’s been regularly featured on NXT TV alongside his tag team partner Malik Blade. Enofe took to social media on December 19th to show off a video of him getting the company logo tattooed on his chest, and the post went viral with fans wondering if he’d made the right decision as he’s still relatively new to professional wrestling. However, the star says his dedication isn’t to be questioned.
“NEW CHEST TAT One thing about me is, I’m dedicated to this brand @WWE, Now, Then, Forever #WWE #WWENXT”

Speaking to USA Insider, Enofe says the decision to get the tattoo was a spur of the moment choice, but he is confident that he’ll be with the company for the long haul and this is his way of being an ambassador for the brand.
“Honestly, it was spur of the moment. I will eventually be the face of this brand and I felt this was the best way to represent it. WWE has changed my life, and this is my way of saying thank you — by becoming an ambassador for the rest of my life.”

However, the star told USA Insider that the only thing he regrets is not getting the tattoo sooner, saying that he’s considering getting the NXT logo tattooed on himself as well.
“When I said I regretted it, I regretted not getting it sooner. I also plan on getting an NXT tattoo on my neck for my birthday.”
Continuing, Edris Enofe explained that being a WWE Superstar has been his dream since he was a small child.
“WWE has been my dream since I was 4 years old. When I finally had enough money, I went to my first WWE event, Backlash 2016. And I was in the nosebleeds of the nosebleeds. I remember telling myself, ‘Somehow, someway, I’ll be in that ring.’”
There’s no doubt Enofe is committed to making waves in the world of professional wrestling, and he says he’s too busy focusing on his future to consider the possibility of his WWE career not working out.
“I haven’t thought about if it doesn’t work out with WWE. Much like the same way I didn’t think about ‘if pro wrestling doesn’t work out.’ I never had a Plan B in my life — except from Walgreens. I had a vision and I knew if I worked hard, stayed focused, and treated everyone right, I would eventually get to where I want to be.”
