One of the stars of NXT 2.0 has reportedly suffered an injury during a live event in Gainesville, Florida.
On the same night that Carmella seemingly suffered a head injury at a SmackDown live event in North Charleston, South Carolina, it appears that NXT 2.0 star Tatum Paxley has also been hurt at a separate event in Gainesville, Florida.
The up-and-coming star was facing Sloane Jacobs in a singles match when she took a kick to the face and her chin inadvertantly hit the ring post.
The incident led to the match being ended early as medical staff tended to Paxley, who appeared to have potentially broken her nose.
#NXTGainesville Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of @TatumPaxley in action due to an injury. Hopefully it's not too serious. Special thanks to the official for quickly calling off the match. pic.twitter.com/5FmOiN7XHu

Paxley and her tag team partner Ivy Nile were recently tipped to win the vacant NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
However, a Fatal Fourway Elimination match for the titles on the most recent edition of the rainbow brand saw the pair being the second team knocked out. The gold was eventually won by Katana Chance and Kayden Carter who last eliminated Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne following a 450 Splash Neckbreaker.
Paxley signed with WWE in August 2021 and made her TV debut on the February 18th edition of NXT Level Up where she and Ivy Nile defeated Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay.
