NXT Championship Match Set For Stand & Deliver

Bron Breakker NXT Champion

Bron Breakker has held the NXT Championship for a little under a year but he might be about to face the biggest threat to his reign to date.

The second-generation star won the title back in April 2022, on Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania 38. His victory came just a month after he lost the title to Dolph Ziggler. This means that aside from 27 days in March 2022, Breakker has held the NXT Title since that January.

Next up to try and dethrone Breakker will be Carmelo Hayes, who many have tipped to star on the main roster in the not-so-distant future. Hayes has begun to taunt Breakker on a regular basis after matches, and at Roadblock, the champion took things into his own hands, calling out Hayes, before the pair made the match official for Stand & Deliver.

Elsewhere on the show, Breakker teamed with the Creed Brothers to defeat Indus Sher and Jinder Mahal as Hayes sat in on commentary.

Breakker’s most recent title defence came against Mahal on the February 21t edition of NXT.

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez Collapses At Roadblock

In the main event of the show, Roxanne Perez put her NXT Women’s Title on the line against Meiko Satomura. Despite being dominated for much of the match Perez scored the win. However, while celebrating she collapsed and was attended to in the ring before being taken away in an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Johnny Gargano made a shock return to the brand to confront Grayson Waller. The pair will square off at Stand & Deliver.
