NXT Champion Makes WWE Raw Debut

WWE NXT Title Vacated, New Champion To Be Crowned At Stand & Deliver

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer made her official WWE Raw debut on Monday’s post-WrestleMania 41 episode, immediately inserting herself into the main roster title picture.

Vaquer interrupted IYO SKY’s in-ring celebration following her successful Women’s World Championship defence at WrestleMania, confronting the champion and issuing a challenge on the spot. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce quickly made the match official, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown between two of WWE’s top women’s champions.

However, the match ended in disarray. As SKY and Vaquer clashed in a highly anticipated bout, Roxanne Perez stormed the ring and attacked SKY, bringing the match to an abrupt end as a no-contest. The chaos escalated as former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia then attacked Vaquer.

Before the dust could settle, Rhea Ripley hit the ring to clear house, driving off Perez and Giulia. Ripley then retrieved SKY’s title belt and handed it back to her, sharing a tense staredown with the champion before exiting the ring, a moment that could hint at future tensions between the two.

Vaquer’s Raw debut marks a major step forward in her WWE career. After signing with the company last summer following her standout performance against Mercedes Mone at the AEW x NJPWForbidden Door event in 2024, she made her in-ring debut for WWE at a live event in Mexico just two weeks later. She officially entered the televised main roster scene during January’s Royal Rumble.

Vaquer captured the NXT Women’s North American Championship in February, then added the NXT Women’s Championship in March after defeating Giulia. She later vacated the North American title ahead of NXT Stand & Deliver, where she retained her Women’s title in a four-way match on WrestleMania weekend.

What Update Did Triple H Provide On The Plans For NXT Europe?

Triple H recently provided an update on plans for NXT Europe, stating that WWE still plans on re-opening the rebranded UK division with the inclusion of the rest of Europe. The rebrand was announced when NXT UK was closed in 2022 and the European version was set to be launched in 2023 but was delayed due to the company’s merger with UFC. The relaunch was expected to take place in 2024 but never materialised.

In a recent interview, Bayley confirmed when her WWE deal expires.

Additionally, 2 NXT stars are in discussion for a main roster call-up.
