A long time NXT star made a surprise appearance at the most recent NXT UK tapings!
Diamond Mine member Roderick Strong made his NXT UK debut at the most recent set of NXT UK tapings at the BT Sport Studio in London. Based on photos shared by a fan on social media, the former NXT Tag Team Champion took on former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Wolfgang, though the tweet does not provide information about who won the bout.
According to the social media post, the rest of Diamond Mine did not accompany Strong in his journey across the ocean as he appeared without his stablemates or manager Malcolm Bivens.
“Good to see @roderickstrong make an appearance for #NXTUK really enjoyed his match and I was sad about @Malcolmvelli not making the trip to London guessing his schedules clashed. Thanks Malcolm for bringing Roddy to London”

This marks the first time that the former member of Undisputed Era has appeared for the NXT UK brand. He follows in the footsteps of names like Kassius Ohno and current NXT Tag Team Champions Imperium who’ve crossed over between the brands.
Last month, Strong took on the record-breaking former NXT UK Champion WALTER (now known as Gunther) in singles action after the Austrian star got into a confrontation with Diamond Mine manager Malcolm Bivens. After the match, WALTER announced his new name change, and provided an explanation for his decision the following week.
Fellow Diamond Mine members the Creed Brothers recently won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, defeating former NXT Tag Team Champions MSK to secure the victory. They will face current NXT Tag Team Champions Imperium in a title match on next week’s edition of NXT 2.0.
