As announced on the latest episode, NXT is going back on the road for the first time since March 2020!
During NXT’s boom period as the ‘Black and Gold brand’ the show regularly toured the United States as WWE’s third brand. The show even featured in the United Kingdom with numerous runs of live shows and appearances at Download Festival.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE were running NXT Road Trip tours around the US, and then a Florida loop at smaller venues around the state. However, this came to an end in March 2020, and the brand is yet to return to the road.
However, that’s about to change as WWE’s developmental brand is officially going back on the road. Confirming a report from last week that talks were in the works of a tour, it was announced on the latest episode of NXT 2.0 that the brand is scheduled for eight dates in June and July, and that tickets will go on sale this coming Friday.
