EC3 faced former IMPACT colleague Thom Latimer on night two of NWA 74, but the former IMPACT World Champion didn’t come to St. Louis alone.
The National Wrestling Alliance returned to St. Louis, Missouri over the weekend for their NWA 74 pay-per-view, paying homage to 74 years of one of wrestling’s most famed promotions. Among the litany of matches on offer was a singles outing between EC3 and Thom Latimer, f.k.a Bram.
Latimer ultimately defeated ‘The Essential Character’, but only via disqualification. Members of EC3’s Control Your Narrative cult ambushed Thom, leading to the match being thrown out. EC3 had previously noted how he wanted to erase ‘The King of All Evil’ of his “demons”.

EC3 has spoken about controlling your narrative since he was cut from WWE in April 2020. The mantra has followed him everywhere he’s gone, including IMPACT Wrestling and ROH. The former saw him target then-TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose in a bid to bring out his own demons from his past in the Anthem-helmed promotion.
The former Derrick Bateman took the saying a step further when, in February, he launched Control Your Narrative as a promotion. The company has since held events in Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, among others, with their latest card occurring on 15 May.
It’s unknown how far this invasion in NWA will go. EC3 had previously launched a CYN invasion of Ring Of Honor at their final pre-Tony Khan event Final Battle, which saw the unveiling of the former Braun Strowman as ‘The Titan’.
