Numerous Late Changes Made To WWE Raw

Late changes were made to WWE Raw this week.

According to reports from PWInsider. One of the most significant changes was to the NXT Women’s title match, which was originally planned to feature Tegan Nox taking on Becky Lynch. However, Nox was replaced by Natalya, as Lynch defended her title against the seasoned veteran.

Another change to the show was the inclusion of Dragon Lee, who made an appearance in an effort to raise the profile of the NXT brand across Raw and SmackDown. The aim was to bring more fans to tune in to NXT on Tuesdays, and Lee’s appearance was seen as a way to achieve this goal.

Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura was also affected by the late changes, as the match was originally scheduled to follow the Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio bout. However, a decision was made to push the match back in order to give more star power to later segments, with Seth Rollins set to be involved.

What Else Happened On WWE Raw?

On the September 18th episode of WWE Raw Cody Rhodes opened the show with a promo but was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, this led to a match between Rhodes and Mysterio which Rhodes won by pinning Mysterio.

Nia Jax made another appearance as she attacked all the competitors during the tag match between Chelsea Green and Piper Niven who teamed against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.

In the main event, Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso and after the match The Judgment Day attacked Jey and Cody Rhodes ran out to make the save and cleared the ring with Jey to end the show.
